The Unusual Creations - PRIMARY SECTION
Primary Section had organized an event on Unusual Creations. The topics were given to the respected classes as follows:
Topics Objective
- Best out of waste (class1) - To develop the ability to think and organize the thinking to create something useful.
- Unusual straw creations (class II) - Optimize the ability of creative thinking.
- Let’s create on stone (class III) - Will encourage students to make connections of age-old culture and will introduce them to the way tools and techniques were used in the past to create rock art.
- Bottle/Clay Art (class IV) - Students learn the art of creating designs on bottles and reusing glass bottles in a more attractive way. /Clay art enables students to make different shapes and assembling in a creative manner.
Rubrics for judgment were - 1.Neatness 2.Timelimit 3.Creativity 4.Presentation & 5.Involvement of children (classes 1&2)
Final Presentation- Children completed their work within the allotted time and presented the work with the objective behind their creations.
Outcome-Young learners participated enthusiastically, and were thrilled throughout the activity. They came up with unique ideas and were confident. Winners were awarded certificates.
